Welcome to Kat’s Musings
I got a soul-zinger a while back. You know, one of those times when you read the Word and all of a sudden your spirit leaps within you, and you know that you know that God has spoken to you. Well I got one of those when I read 1 Chronicles 16:24. It reads:
Publish his glorious deeds among the nations.
Tell everyone about the amazing things he does.
So, that’s what I’m doing. This is all about Him – God. It has nothing to do with me. He is the Author, I am merely His pen. A simple vessel for noble use to proclaim all the miracles that He has performed in my life to glorify Him.
Radical Parenting
As a result, I have developed two websites. The first one is Kids-Faith: Raising Godly Children in an Ungodly World, a Radical Approach. After raising five children the same way, the two eldest strayed with the third child following close behind. God led me to radically change everything in my home and in the way I parent. The results? Amazing! 100% success! All five live a life renewed in their minds, with hearts that call after God, and a walk that models His. So far, that is. It’s not the end of the story, but it sure is a good beginning!

Kat’s Musings
Kat’s Musings is the second site. Having had a very difficult upbringing, and a tough life compounded by horrible choices, I wasn’t a very nice girl. I was full of anger, hate, bitterness, judgment, and depression. But God is bigger than all that, and He did some amazing, personal things for me. I am no longer what the world has made me; I am what God has created. Kat’s Musings includes this journey to healing. You can find it under the menu item The Fighting Man (Healing for the Broken).
The Treasure Box
God has performed some very personal miracles in my life. As a result, I keep a Treasure Box full of these wonderful revelations. Whenever I feel like He’s not there, I just have to open that box and peruse the contents. I am then reminded of His faithfulness and His love towards me. I would like to share these miracles with you in hopes that you too will seek Him will all of your heart and find Him. He is real!
Lessons Learned
You know, being disciplined by God is not a very pleasant experience. It’s a good thing that I know He loves me and He disciplines me because He does love me. Right? So, I’m going to be really transparent and share those experiences with you. Who know? Maybe you can avoid some of my own pitfalls.

11 My child, don’t reject the Lord’s discipline,
and don’t be upset when he corrects you.
12 For the Lord corrects those he loves,
just as a father corrects a child in whom he delights.
Kat’s Korner
Let me share with you how I study God’s Word. I sit on the couch with my nice cup of hot tea. I spend some time in worship and praise – He is my everything and I let Him know every morning how wonderful I think He is. We spend some time joyfully loving each other. Then I pat the seat right next to me and say, “Come on Abba-Daddy, come teach me about Your Word.”
He is so gracious, He does teach me!
John 14:26 But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative—that is, the Holy Spirit—he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you.
So, I blog it. Right now it resides at Kat’s Korner. But soon it will be transferred here. It will be nice to get it all in one place

I have also included a Blog Chain experiment that I’m doing with some other Christian authors from ChristianWriters. I have been impressed by their gift of writing and wisdom.
